This is the last time I am ordering from Marshalls. Last year none of my vegetables grew from Marshalls as the quality of them were extremely poor.I ordered a smaller amount of vegetables this year from Marshalls in February. The delivery date for Lettuce was early March although when I ran up on the 15th they said the website never said March and only said May. I have now received an email saying that they will be delivered in May.I have now cancelled my order and will no longer be shopping at Marshall's and will only be shopping at Local Garden centres.

I really should have read the reviews on here before ordering. I ordered a potato growing kit and 3 bag of Marshalls veg growing medium on the 2nd February, they did state orders were taking up to 10 days at point of order so wasn't expecting it to be quick. However 8 working days (10 days in total) after ordering I received an email from Yodel to inform me of delivery that date. On receipt they had only sent 2 bags of the growing medium, the dispatch note inside stated 3 bags and the growing kit would follow. So I rang Marshalls who informed me that they had only sent 1 parcel containing the 2 bags instead of 2 parcels in error, but would arrange for the missing bag to be dispatched straight away. 1 week later I have received delivery of the potato grow kit (so 13 working days) but still no missing bag of growing medium. I have emailed Marshalls this time and received a response telling me that this is now at the 'picking' stage. So despite being told this would be sent immediately it still hasn't even been 'picked' in the warehouse a week later let alone delivered.Extremely disappointing, I only placed an order with them as I could get everything I needed from 1 place instead of 3. In future I will go elsewhere.

Yet again, that vile woman Poppy at Marshall’s has absolutely no remorse concern for selling weeds to customers! Only bothered about negative reviews and scamming even more customers!!!

Not surprised to see that this company has such terrible reviews, they are absolutely shocking. Ordered an item which said 'in stock' online but the delivery window had passed and I hadn't heard anything. Contacted them and, despite the fact that it didn't state this when I ordered, apparently it wasn't due for despatch until later that month. I asked for a refund and in spite of the fact that my order wasn't being despatched until later in the month, it was suddenly being 'picked and packed' by the nursery. Made no sense and a week on I was still having to waste my time chasing because the 'nursery' hadn't responded. I called up and had a rant at Callum O'Neill, who is about as useful as a chocolate teapot and who obviously doesn't give 2 tosses about much as he is probably too desperate to get home and play Grand Theft Auto in his mother's basement. He claimed that no one was available to put the refund through so I hung up and called back and, lo and behold, this other person (also a chocolate teapot) found a supervisor to eventually put the refund through. Whilst on the phone to the second chocolate teapot, it sounded like a primary school playground in the background so I have no doubt that their bad reviews are not only down to bad management, but the fact that they are paying a bunch of incompetent, mind-numbingly dense teenagers to deal with their many, many, many complaints.A lazy, incompetent company which is happy to take your money but not to give paying customers accurate information or give them their hard-earned money back in a timely fashion. Do not use this company, ever.

I complained to Marshalls about dead and dying plants and late delivery via Gardeners World Magazine website as I had no reply through Marshalls customer service. Marshalls responded straight away and 'Poppy' at customer services promised a full and immediate refund. Over 5 weeks later I am still waiting for a refund and my emails are once again being ignored. Marshalls reputation has been trashed by their own performance over the last few months. Order no MG397973Update 11.08.20Thank you Marshalls. Everything has now been taken care of and full refund given.Can I suggest to anyone posting here at Marshalls Garden, post their reviews and complaints on Marshalls Seeds. I don't think Marshalls customer services read them here even though it is the same company. Leave an order no with your review on Marshalls seeds.

Terrible service Ordered 14th April £42 of plants £15 arrived in very poor condition in June About half survived and are now around 4” high Still waiting for the rest ?Complained via e mail had a reply saying due to leave in June then another saying last week of July Replied on on 24th of June asking to cancel Guess what... silence ?PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I was originally put off by all the negative reviews but I couldn't find anywhere else that sold the plants I wanted so I thought I would give it and go, and I'm so GLAD I did!!! My confirmation email stated due to the pandemic situation there may be delays and my plants wouldn't be dispatched for 7-10 days, I was fine with this and appreciated the communication. I was pleasantly surprised when 2 days later I received a tracking email and my plants arrived 4 days after I ordered them in perfect condition! Don't be put off by the bad reviews, Marshalls were fantastic! Definitely worth it!!(It's often true that most will be straight on to give a bad review but very few will leave a good review if it all went well!)

Terrible customer service and bad products, I ordered tomato plants over 6 weeks ago. I emailed Marshalls customer services to ask for a delivery date but received no response. The plants arrived 2 weeks later, dried out and dead.I have since emailed their customer services twice but with no response and have now escalated this with PayPal.Dreadful and I will never use this company again

One star is too many, can get zero response from them have waited weeks no goods.

PART 2......OMG.......Where to start ??Paid £20 for 3, YES 3. tomato plants and 10 (I think, so long ago) Beetroot.Only got tomato plants. Several emails, phone calls nothingSO Bought some organic ones and cancelled Marshalls and demanded a refund.Theyve now sent me 10,--- I think-= dry small plants which were all broken loose in the box. As a vegetarian who loves everything living, I could have cried. I should still get my refund. THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE SUPPLIER. I WANT MY REFUND. I am an honest reviewer------ please take note. Dont waste your money.

I ordered from Marshalls on 6 May. I received part of the delivery (the plant pots) but not the actual plant. The plant has had an order status of preparing for despatch for the last two weeks. I’ve tried to contact them twice by email and also by phone (I’ve been in a queue for 14 minutes) but their customer service just doesn’t respond.I appreciate that there have been delays due to COVID19 but in the meantime I’ve ordered plants from other suppliers and they are managing this in a much better way and delivering. I could tolerate some delay in despatch if their customer service actually responded and explained what was happening and when I could expect delivery. Plants are seasonal and if they’re not delivered on time they are not much good. Shop elsewhere!
